I'm using the staging branch of Wine 2.6 with CSMT, VAAPI, EAX, and GTK3 theming enabled in winecfg. I think this bug is actually a dupe of bug 42520.
winetricks xact_jun2010 is one way to workaround the bug.
I prefer to stay away from winetricks because I want to just use wine as is.
