Steps to reproduce: 1. Install Wine 1.1.28, 1.1.29, or 1.1.30. 2. Open notepad in Wine. 3. Click the notepad window. Type in notepad. Letters should appear. 4. Open an application outside of wine (gedit or terminal, for example). 5. Click the application outside Wine. 6. Switch back to notepad. Try typing. Letters no longer appear. Instead, letters appear in the application opened outside Wine.
