There is nothing at that specific URL. The reason is we use Fail2Ban with some strict rules. If you hit a (403) access denied page you will be banned for 24 hours. Sorry for that, but the bots have been a big problem for us, and we've put in some pretty drastic protections against them. What we could do to work around this is if you hit that specific URL you will get a (301) redirect (instead of a 403) to a more appropriate landing page. Yes, I think it's better to present user with a list of mailing lists instead of straight out banning the IP address just for accessing that URL. By the way, can you please also redirect the URL without the trailing slash (https://www.winehq.org/pipermail) so the behaviour is consistent?
