What audio driver are you using? I am using PulseAudio (default with Ubuntu) both ALSA and OSS are ticked in the Audio drivers (Makes no difference if either ALSA is ticked on its own or OSS on its own). Hardware acceleration is set to full (no change if I select emulated either). Default Sample rate is 44100 and Default Bits Per Sample is 16. Please retest with 1.3.37 (or newer) using a clean wineprefix.
