Which distro did you use to install the program?
Fedora Core 9 or 10, I forget offhand which. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15895 --- Comment #8 from Elliot <murdocke(a)gmail.com> 2008-11-13 08:18:13 --- Hello! Just to add to this strange behavior, a user at Linuxquestions.org also was able to reproduce this bug on a Mandriva system: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/slackware-14/wine-and-slackware-12.1... So it seems to effect some linux distributions, but not others. Juan: did you run the installer on a clean directory or was there some other software already installed on that might have change some parameters? Clean. Just to help out, the most likely problem is that the certificate used to sign the msi file is not trusted under Slackware/Mandriva but is under Fedora (and Windows.) How about that log I asked for? Actually, could you attach a +crypt,+wintrust,+msisip log? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15895 Juan Lang <juan_lang(a)yahoo.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID --- Comment #10 from Juan Lang <juan_lang(a)yahoo.com> 2009-05-08 05:05:53 --- Apparently Slackware does not ship any CA certificates, see http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15704#c11 . This is an invalid configuration. You need to make sure the same CA certs are installed in Slackware as on Windows, or at least that the CA cert used to sign isscript.msi is installed (and trusted.) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
