As you can see in the reviews , all reviewers confirm that we can install Steam version but DVD version ALWAYS fails because installer crashes .... Only way around this is to 1st install from DVD in Window$ and make a ZIP file and pass content to Linux machine. However i consider that ridiculous and doesn't seem too hard (well at least compared with all the advances made in WINE ;) to solve... There are lot's of people with the DVD and w/o Steam version that would love to install game w/o need to go back ti Window$ to make ZIP files... BTW, AFAIK, the updaters also crash so, one more reason to solve this and avoid the ZIP files...
