But since I upgraded to wine-1.3.0 the game refuses to launch : wine starts up, resolution of the screen is changed, and an error message occurs, saying to report the problem here ;-). My wine install is quite common I guess, and a fresh install of the game did not change anything. Since no one was ever able to reproduce I'm resolving this as worksforme.
