I'm playing battlefield 2142 on wine and got punkbuster to work. So now I can even play online without getting kicked. The only bug I experience is when I load a second map it goes WAY slower then the first time, it's easyer to just close the game and start over. (My solution for now: find servers wich reload the map every 99 games.) I don't know what is wrong, but I think the graphical card memory must be full or something like that. I haven't tried to fully load it and that is what I'm going to do next. And I'll probably try using other versions of wine too.
