[Bug 14442] New: wrong resolution in fullscreen mode
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14442 Summary: wrong resolution in fullscreen mode Product: Wine Version: 1.1.1 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: starmatz71(a)yahoo.de The max screen resolution of my monitor seems not to be recognized correctly by the game or wine, because the lower part of the graphic is outside of the display. I have a widescreen lcd with a resolution of 1400x900 pixel but i think wine try to use 1280x1024 as resolution and as the result of this the lower part does not match into the screen... Ihis issue starts in wine 1.1.1 after resolving the novideoplayback issue of bug 8604. I think in videoplayback wine switch to the wrong resolution and after this the rest of the game leave this wrong resolution active and it does not fit into the screen. Perhaps this issue have something to do with bug 8604. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14442 --- Comment #3 from Matze Sternler <starmatz71(a)yahoo.de> 2008-07-17 11:47:13 --- Yes, it's spongebob squarepants. I've create a screenshot of the game in fullscreenmode, and i cannot see the lower part of the graphic at my screen but if i press print on my keyboard the screenshot is fully visible. It seems the graphic is completely there but wine switch to the wrong vertically resolution, perhaps while the videoplayback starts (it looks a little stretched). In older wine versions the menu and the game are fully visible on my monitor, but of course without videoplayback. Yes, with the original WindowsXP the game is fully visible and looks not stretched. The fullscreen graphic is physically not visible at my lcd but I had create a screenshot and the complete graphic could be saved, also the invisible area of the screen. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
