It's free software. It's quite large, though. Maybe easier to download it to your computer. But if you like, I can upload it to my box.net account and give you a download link. Unfortunately, I'm not nearly sophisticated enough to compile programs on my Linux box. I depend entirely on Synaptic (Ubuntu 12.04) to get the apps for me. The current version is 1.4. Is there a way to install the latest version of Wine without having a lot of sophisticated knowledge? I've installed from austin(a)aw25 ~ $ sha1sum davar3_iso.zip 383e5f9f105c4e6b9bba332ab025c5b9037d4b0e davar3_iso.zip austin(a)aw25 ~ $ du -h davar3_iso.zip 321M davar3_iso.zip in 1.5.29, and it runs fine. I opened a few texts, no crash. It runs okay for about a minute, and then it crashes. It happens when the text of KJB is "overloaded" with "tips".. (Turn the tips off by clicking the x button) The bug is more common with the 26mb version of DAVAR3..
