Can you give steps to reproduce using a CLEAN .wine directory. Either delete or move your old one, then give steps to reproduce using the download you provided. BTW, please attach a small GPS/data file to download. The application does not provide any, so the bug cannot be produced with just the download you provided. Lastly, what version of the program last worked? http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10046 --- Comment #4 from Renaud (Ron) OLGIATI <renaud(a)olgiati-in-paraguay.org> 2007-10-15 16:23:01 --- Unzip the file in a ~/mapedit directory ca to ~/mapedit, and wine mapedit.exe to launch the app. Download a small (4k) compressed map at http://mapcenter.cgpsmapper.com/getmap.php?id=4066&type=bin and unzip it in ~/mapedit cd to ~/mapedit, and wine mapedit.exe to launch the app. Now File => Open should show you a file 12481003.img Open it. In the toolbar select the Selection tool (white arrow pointin up)and right click on on of the Points of Interest (One of the fuel pumps, or the airplane) and choose Modify => Label A data input window opens next to the POI, with the existing label if there is one; type a new label text and enter. I used 1.0.42.1 version of mapedit, however, as 1.0.38.3 wasn't available at http://www.geopainting.com anymore. Are you sure you had been using the same version of mapedit and Mandriva also earlier? There have been some fixes to the program due to maps crashing. When you say it worked perfectly in old wine, you must be talking about using native gdiplus. Are you sure you had been using the same version of mapedit and Mandriva also earlier?
