[Bug 13942] New: Mozilla Firefox & others move window automatically in fluxbox
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13942 Summary: Mozilla Firefox & others move window automatically in fluxbox Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P3 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: superfranky(a)gmx.at Created an attachment (id=14090) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=14090) firefox moving around hey guys, my 1st wine bug report. I have a very disturbing behavior since wine-0.9.59 (now using wine-1.0-rc5) especially with Mozilla Firefox-3.0-(alpha,pre,rcx) in fluxbox-1.0.0. 1. Whenever i open a new tab in firefox, the firefox window starts moving a little bit diagonally to the left a few mm. Every additional tab moves the firefox window more out of sight. I have to ALT-left grab it and move it back where it belongs, or close it with ALT+F4. 2. Firefox window also moves diagonally whenever (mouse)focus is lost; for instance the 'About Firefox' window, only over the main firefox window whenever i move the mouse between both, every switch is a move. 3. confirming OK in a sub window -> move closing a dialog window manually -> move This is true for firefox, thunderbird, sunbird. 4. mouse wheel scroll up/down let application window move rapidly (totalcommander and use of notepad ->F3 to view textfiles) All the 'moving' action startet with release 0.9.59 of Wine and the included Window management fixes. I can only reproduce all of this in the fluxbox, in KDE everything behaves normally. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

That's a fluxbox bug.
Thx for the swift reply. I had the strange feeling that it could be a fluxbox bug. The thing that let me doubt it, was opera-9.50 final. No matter what i do within fluxbox while using opera there's no weird moving around. I see if i can reproduce it with Openbox / E17. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
