Is building from source as in your example more supported? What package do you recommend for Mac? Regarding your manual fixups --- any tips? Or scripted way to do this? (Just to rule it out as possibly causing my issue?). I plan to share the approach I used to do that but currently unpacking the msi/cab files manually. How confident are you it's not a difference in Linux vs. Mac?
