http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35525 --- Comment #1 from Jerome Leclanche <adys.wh(a)gmail.com> --- Does the game output good screenshots when installed outside steam? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35525 --- Comment #2 from Maurizio Oliveri <6tsukiyami9(a)gmail.com> --- The screenshot isn't taken from the game, but via Steam overlay, which means it somehow gets the wrong input from the game's window, or messes it up. Sorry, I realize I kinda forgot to add more info... To try it out: launch the native Steam client for Linux, add a non-Steam game and then add a game launched via Wine. The overlay works fine, but screenshots appear upside-down, so Wine and Steam, somehow, aren't communicating that well, messing up screen informations -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35525 --- Comment #3 from Henri Verbeet <hverbeet(a)gmail.com> --- It's probably something similar to bug 31914, where they're not taking all GL state (GL_READ_FRAMEBUFFER_BINDING in that specific case) properly into account when capturing the back buffer. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35525 --- Comment #4 from Maurizio Oliveri <6tsukiyami9(a)gmail.com> --- Is there any chance that somebody within the Wine team could contact Valve about this? Just so that this issue could be resolved easily, as probably both parties should want to find out who's doing what wrong -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I'd be happy to answer any questions Valve may have about this, and explain what I think is likely to be the issue, but I don't think I have a contact inside Valve for the Linux Steam client. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
