As i dont use/have Windows anymore i've installed ttf-opensymbol (ubuntu maverick i386) to get an alternative and can be found into: /usr/share/fonts/truetype/openoffice/ as "opens__.ttf". The problem is: this font have to be copied into /windows/Fonts/ inside .wine because it dont find it into openoffice dir and wine1.3 dont propose it as a dependency, winetricks dont help neither. As a sub-note: inside /windows/Fonts/ i'm seeing fonts naming either with ttf uppercase (Times.TTF) or lowercase (unifont.ttf) or mixed (DroidSans.ttf). Those are installed either by wine1.3 itself or by winetricks.
