I'll try to figure out a setup to record the sound output. It sounds slightly too fast and some bits are being repeated it seems. Is this still an issue in current (1.0-rc4 or newer) wine?

Yes, but now there's no sound at all when HW acceleration is set to Full. I get the same results as in my previous comment but I figured it's because of bug 15710 (volume is muted).
