Maybe the textures are not applied correctly. See the screenshot and the startup log of bug 14911 (I do not want to upload it twice). Wine version wine-1.1.2-628-g5d900bb. Look at the trees which are a little bit further away. A second texture seems to lie under the white one. While paused, the whole scene is rendered slightly darker. If you compare the trees on this screenshot with the previous screenshot, you see that the bark on the tree on the left and the one on the middle becomes visible. So it seems that the texture is applied correctly but the lightning calculations are not correct. Maybe there is a shader used for normal mapping on the trees.
