The application crases after calling: FormatMessageW(FORMAT_MESSAGE_ALLOCATE_BUFFER|FORMAT_MESSAGE_IGNORE_INSERTS|FORMAT_MESSAGE_FROM_SYSTEM,NULL,TRUST_E_NOSIGNATURE,0x400,BUF,0,0) after hacking the function to return an error describing string the intallator hangs. With the attached patch , shamelessly stolen from bug 29997, and the patch from https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=57910 (bug 34989) the installer succeeds for me. The user interface doenst refresh, but the installation goes on and succeeds in the end.
