[Bug 39909] New: 4K display bug (3840x2160)
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39909 Bug ID: 39909 Summary: 4K display bug (3840x2160) Product: Wine Version: 1.9.0 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: nad4reg(a)gmail.com Distribution: --- Hi, I am the lucky owner of a 4K display (3840x2160 resolution) when using on a large screen, there is an invisible line below which - display looks not refreshed (you have to move the window with the mouse) - no interaction take place (ie you cannot select text, key combinations do not work) this line appears to be below 1440. FYI it is used in combination with a 2650x1440 display (I don't think it has any impact) -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39909 --- Comment #1 from Nikolay Sivov <bunglehead(a)gmail.com> --- So with dual monitor setup one of which is 2650x1440 and another 3840x2160, when both connected, wine's windows are clipped to smaller monitor size? Do native applications work properly? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39909 --- Comment #2 from Nadir <nad4reg(a)gmail.com> --- Yes. I am using Manjaro Linux/XFCE. A 3840x2160 above a 2650x1440 display. I must add that the clipping occurs on from approx 1440 to everything below. I mean that for example - If I try to select text with the mouse in a full height page, the selection mark (inverted text) stops at approx 1440) - If I do this in the lower display (2650x1440), I cannot select any text, I cannot open any menu, with the mouse - if I try to open a menu with the keyboard (ie alt+F), it works, but the menu content is black (I added a screenshot) Thanks -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
