Install and run WinMerge 2. Press Ctrl+N to create a new document 3. Enter some text in the "Untitled right" pane 4. Press the close button This will bring up the "Save modified files?" dialog. 5. Resize the dialog On windows, you only see the left-right resize mouse pointer and can only resize on the x axis.
