Console output when starting the BoUT demo

I installed the demo version of Book of Unwritten Tales and vcrun2005 via
winetricks.
BoUT uses the OGRE engine which just stops at "Init sound". It does not crash
however, it just stops infinitely.
Attached you can find the console output when starting the demo. If you need
any specific trace or whatever just tell me.

Can you please attach the output of winedbg after issuing the bt all command
when the game demo is hung?

console output of WINEDEBUG=+all (after "init sound")

Waited a few seconds after the demo started trying to initialize sound, then
killed the process w/ ctrl-c.

That's not actually the output I asked for. When the application is hung, do
this in a separate terminal and attach the output:

$ winedbg
Wine-dbg>bt all

Can you re-test the demo using a more recent Wine version, e.g. 1.1.43?

I have no problems starting the demo in 1.1.43 (it works in 1.1.37, too).
DirectX, OpenAL and MS VC++ 2005 libraries were installed automatically during
the setup process. As it turned out, the demo works with Wine's built-in
openal32.dll, too.

After the line 'Init sound' the game finds ALSA as the primary sound device for
me, and successfully initializes it.
Can you check if you configured audio in Wine correctly?

Only a week ago it still didn't work. But actually - it does now using
wine-1.1.43-408-g3317fc3.
