Atm, every wine update makes it buggier. 1.5.4 + the patches...perfect. Then, after d3 1.0.2 or 3. The warden thingy. Workaround with setarch(had ugly performance issues). Trying 1.5.5 with patches. Other bugs (some strange crashes), auction house not working/other strange behaviour without restarting wine. And now this. Before 1.5.6, setarch fixed the login(authentication) problem. I went back to my patched 1.5.5. With setarch -3LBR wine Diablo III.exe, it works like a charm.
