I am sure that means you didn't specify DLL overrides via env-variable:
$ WINEDLLOVERRIDES='ole32,oleaut32,rpcrt4=n' wine ...

I'd try this override (assuming DCOM98 is installed) even with the latest
version (0.9.3).
