Some more info, if this helps:

$ fglrxinfo 
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: ATI Radeon Xpress Series
OpenGL version string: 2.0.6473 (8.37.6)

Its a Radeon XPress 200m (x300 / 1100IGP based in a Laptop), running XOrg 7.2
(with all the correct config settings).
