https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41151 Rosanne DiMesio <dimesio(a)earthlink.net> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary|Crash moments after opening |Oblivion crashes on start | |in winegstreamer --- Comment #3 from Rosanne DiMesio <dimesio(a)earthlink.net> --- Oblivion (Steam version) works fine here in 1.9.16. You are probably missing 32 bit gstreamer. What distro are you on? If it's Debian, AFAIK it's impossible to install 32 bit gstreamer alongside 64 bit; the workaround in that case is to disable winegstreamer. If it's some other distro, make sure you have all the 32 bit gstreamer plugins installed (especially the "ugly" ones). -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41151 --- Comment #5 from Brandon Barker <brandon.barker(a)gmail.com> --- There were many gstreamer libraries on ubuntu 17.04. I tried installing a few to no avail - disabling winegstreamer using winecfg works. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Please, switch for a more decent distro if you want to play this game. Fedora is known to work fine with winegstremaer.
