I have too: "Can't initialize sound engine! ErrorCode:23" If ALSA driver is chcecked, AIMP doesn't work. At this moment AIMP2 is working for me. I unchecked ALSA driver, and I selected OSS. My OS is Ubuntu 10.04 (x86). In terminal I have only 'Segmentation fault'.
