Could you provide that to help Wine developers narrow this down? I also have this game on GOG but couldn't reproduce the crash here on KDE Plasma 6.5.5 and Nvidia binary drivers 590.48.01. However, I have to embarrassingly admit that the crash turned out to be user error. The working directory was wrong and the game couldn't find it's other files. Since you do have the game: Do you also see a small dark rectangle in the upper left corner? See the attached screenshot. There was no backtrace or I would have posted it. However, I have to embarrassingly admit that the crash turned out to be user error. The working directory was wrong and the game couldn't find it's other files.
I'm glad you got that sorted.
Since you do have the game: Do you also see a small dark rectangle in the upper left corner? See the attached screenshot. It's always there, from the intro movies, over the main menu, to ingame.
