As this does not happen, it ends up obscurtion the topmost portion of the screen in this mode. In fact, 2D Fighter Maker 2nd is a game creation system used in this game. I tried adding its AppDB entry (#16274) but couldn't find any option for that after I filed the bug. While XP runs this game properly, it looks like more recent versions (Windows 8 in this screenshot) have a similar bug, which ends up actually obscuring more of the screen as it includes the actual window decorations in full: http://i.imgur.com/74T80fw.png Basically, Wine mimics the same behavior as more recent Windows versions, with the main difference being that it doesn't include the actual window decorations (as my copy is currently set to have the system window manager handle that apart) -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Steam had bars in certain windows versions, but lacked earlier one(s). Also that bug is fixed with the wine-staging patch.
