[Bug 12606] New: Use ~/.Trash when available

Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P3 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: teloiv(a)gmail.com Some platforms Wine runs on - Ubuntu/Debian, Mac OSX, and Gentoo at the very least - use ~/.Trash for garbage files instead of ~/.local/share/Trash. Wine should use ~/.Trash when available instead of creating ~/.local/share/Trash - which the user may not realize exists and confuse them as to where their space is going. [1] When you say Ubuntu/Debian/Gentoo is using ~/.Trash, what you really mean is Gnome uses ~/.Trash. KDE follows the XDG trash spec and uses $XDG_DATA_HOME/Trash, where $XDG_DATA_HOME defaults to ~/.local/share/.
