[Bug 9030] army men hangs on black screen
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9030 --- Comment #45 from Dmitry Timoshkov <dmitry(a)baikal.ru> --- Game installer warns that the game has been designed for win95 but being installed under NT, but nonetheless installs just fine. Running the game shows nothing, or rather a black screen with sounds. After pressing Esc the game cleanly exists. This is with todays Wine git. Console output (it's pretty short to bother with an attachment): wine ArmymenDemo.exe fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x33ec08,0x00000000), stub! fixme:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette No palette set. fixme:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette No palette set. fixme:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette No palette set. fixme:dplay:dplobby_destroy Should kill the msg thread fixme:d3d_surface:wined3d_surface_blt Can't handle WINEDDBLT_ASYNC flag. fixme:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette No palette set. fixme:ddraw:ddraw_surface7_Flip Ignoring flags 0x1. fixme:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette No palette set. fixme:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette No palette set. fixme:ddraw:ddraw7_FlipToGDISurface iface 0x13b4c8 stub! fixme:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette No palette set. fixme:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette No palette set. fixme:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette No palette set. fixme:d3d:wined3d_device_decref Device released with resources still bound, acceptable but unexpected. fixme:d3d:wined3d_device_decref Leftover resource 0x156968 with type WINED3D_RTYPE_SURFACE (0x1). fixme:d3d:wined3d_device_decref Leftover resource 0x156810 with type WINED3D_RTYPE_TEXTURE (0x3). fixme:d3d:wined3d_device_decref Leftover resource 0x16f1e0 with type WINED3D_RTYPE_SURFACE (0x1). fixme:d3d:wined3d_device_decref Leftover resource 0x16d3f0 with type WINED3D_RTYPE_TEXTURE (0x3). err:ole:CoUninitialize Mismatched CoUninitialize -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
