[Bug 10575] New: Neverwinter Nights 2: Game crashes at a certain point in the campaign
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10575 Summary: Neverwinter Nights 2: Game crashes at a certain point in the campaign Product: Wine Version: 0.9.49. Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-directx-d3d AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: haukew(a)gmx.de Created an attachment (id=9362) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=9362) the errorlog Neverwinter Nights 2 really works well. I could - except for the map-bug ( http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9193 ) play through the campaign to the point when you take Shandra to the Sunken Flagon ( http://www.gamebanshee.com/neverwinternights2/walkthrough/shandrasfarm-secon... ). When you are in the Flagon, Shandra says she wants to go to bed. Then the screen fades out and the game crashes. What should have happened is that the githyanki attack the Flagon. I tried this with wine 0.9.48 and 0.9.49, both versions crash. The game didn't crash one single time before - playing time until this point is some hours, maybe 5 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

I haven't got there - let alone got NWN2 to play without graphical errors, but did you try the advice at http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Troubleshooting ? I think section 4 and 10 are of intrest (Crash on transition & Game crashes/hangs after finishing Jerro Haven) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

I think this is an NWN2 issue, not a Wine issue. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
