Mageia Linux 5 ships with wine-1.7.30 - is this recent enough for testing? 2. If it isn't recent enough, I'll need to build wine on a VM. Should I build wine-32bit on an i586 VM, wine-64bit on an x86-64 VM, or wine-32bit on an x86-64 VM (which from what I understood is complicated to do)? 3. How do I install Viber? This bug was reported when Viber didn't have a Linux desktop version, I was hoping to get to the bottom of this issue with the Windows version (on Wine) in order to try and fix it for the sake of future applications. 1. The latest version up to the reported date was 1.7.0 as the following link suggests: http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/5b1e70ce97454c8b22ec3d55d254396... Your version should be good enough for this test. 2. Visual issue, architecture doesn't matter in that case. 3. This is the version, if you are able to download and install it would be great. I'm getting this error when running the latest viber for Windows on WINE in Mageia Linux x86-64 5, so I cannot test any further. Sorry, I won't do that. I'm not an active user of Viber (it's the first time I recall hearing about it) and I have no interest in seeing its Windows version supported under WINE.
