Microphone is working well in native linux apps . Installation and additional setup was smooth until it asked to detect the microphone. Screen shot looks the same. I have tried a dozen recommended fixes found on the web and nothing works. BTW, my microphone is part of a USB headset. Works in Ubuntu, works in WINE but does not show up in Rosetta Stone. This bug says "Unconfirmed" but if one searches the web one will see that the problem is and has been around for quite a while.
