You should be able to work around this by using Firefox under Wine. When I try to access it with Firefox running on Fedora I get that error page. Apparently the Wine Builtin Explorer identifies itself as Microsoft Internet Explorer and passes the test described above. Thus I get the first screen of the site, which askes for a user ID and a password. I enter the user ID and password. Instead of loggin me on it declares a 404. I sent a log of the events after I enter the ID and password. My workaround is that I have a second drive on the computer with Windows 98. I boot that drive to see my wifes work schedule. It would be nice to drop that routine and work 100% in the xninx environment. I will try running Firefox from Wine, but I suspect that the result will be the same as described above. This obviously doesn't fix the bug, but you should be able to confuse the website with this and drop Windows.
This site refuses to do anything at all here. Do you have anything else installed? Do you get the same thing in a clean wineprefix?
Ken - Fantastic! I installed agent-switcher and the site lets me log on and see her schedule. Problem solved. Regarding the fact that site does not work there - who knows. Maybe the xenophobic folks at federated stores look to see not only what browser you use but where the request comes from, and cut off those dangerous foreigners?? Anyway - thank you so much. A 404 comes from the web server so it's being blocked their end.

If I do the same with Firefox4 under wine, when my password is rejected, I get a small embedded popup saying my password is invalid and to try again. I worked - kinda. Am now able to log on the site, but when I ask it to prepare a report it refuses and tellm me I must Adobe reader installed (it is installed). Appartntly to the site it looks like I have Internet Explorer but do not have Adobe Reader installed. Maybe the way firefox + plug in functions does not replicate how the original IE functions, in this regard. I tried winetricks firefox 4 and it works a tiny bit better but not completely. It gives me the site, allows me to log on, but when I request the report it tells me that this feature is only available on Internet Explorer - but that some day soon it will be available on firefox. Apparently to the site I look like firefox running on the Mac. But I still have win98 on my #2 disk - not that hard to boot once a week.
