I can provide any logs needed as well as manual verification of things in the /data dirs since I am rooted. After intalling and running Wine 3.0 ARM from https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/android/, it unpacks, then shows "Setting up windows environment". After that, the screen goes grey and stays like that. I have let it sit for over 10 minutes with no changes in the log, other than recognizing touch events.
