[Bug 21737] New: Quicken 2004 Premier cross-account entry transfer [sometimes] fails
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21737 Summary: Quicken 2004 Premier cross-account entry transfer [sometimes] fails Product: Wine Version: 1.0.1 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: rhdinah(a)yahoo.com When making a debit in one account and linking through the category to another account ... thus making a credit in the second account ... the operation fails with a dialogue box popping up stating that the transfer didn't happen. This will continue ad nauseum changing this, that and the other to no avail. There is however a fix ... if you copy the failing transaction and paste to a new entry ... the transfer operation will succeed ... you can then delete the erroneous entry. Now, unfortunately, this does not work predictably ... ;-( ... so this bug report is just for reference information and since there is a work-around ... not to worry. I don't remember this 'feature' happening in the product under Windows. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21737 Robert H. Dinah <rhdinah(a)yahoo.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|CLOSED |UNCONFIRMED Resolution|ABANDONED | --- Comment #4 from Robert H. Dinah <rhdinah(a)yahoo.com> 2011-11-26 23:36:39 CST --- Not so fast now Mr. Austin English ... Mr. Andrew Nguyen asked that it be retested with the newest version in development ... which I did not do because of the amount of work it would involve on my part ... plus his request was clearly a stop gap measure putting the onus back on me. It DID NOT REQUIRE NOR DID IT ASK FOR a response. I've repeatedly tested this bug with all the newer PRODUCTION versions ... and it still does not work. So please don't insult me with assuming that I'm not interested in this being fixed and setting the status to RESOLVED, ABANDONED and then CLOSED. I have not abandoned my bug entry ... and you cannot just blanketly assume that this bug is fixed. It is not. I love you guys and all, but you should have a more professional way at looking at bugs. They clearly are bugs. Whether they get fixed or not is another question. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
