[Bug 22776] New: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 flickery textures in midrange background
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22776 Summary: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 flickery textures in midrange background Product: Wine Version: 1.1.44 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3d AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com COD:MW2 launches fine from Steam (once you work around bug 22053). Starting single-player campaign works fine, too, but there is some annoying flickering, usually covering only the middle quarter of the screen, but occasionally affecting the sky as well. It's as if buildings are flickering in and out. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22776 --- Comment #8 from rocko <rockorequin(a)hotmail.com> --- Just a note that in a related app with flickery textures, Battlefield Bad Company 2, StrictDrawOrdering=enable solves most of the graphical glitches except for trees in the middle distance, which flicker annoyingly.
