Some people on a website about Ubuntu told me that I need Windows 7 at least to run Starcraft 2, but maybe you have a better solution, you, who know about the program wine. Ps: I've always played Starcraft 2 but on Wings of liberty and heart of the swarm even if it sometimes crashed, but now I can't even run the Battlenet program (which needs to run Starcraft 2). That screenshot doesnt help at all. You need to press the right button and then it gives more details of the bug. Also you should attach as attachment the console output before this window. Battle.net requires some fonts. This is done with winetricks -q corefonts. Or using wine-staging version of wine. Also I am not sure if Battle.net works correctly (currently) with wine, without staging patches. Last time I tried SC2 it started to work without any patches from staging. And after doing this I've started to run Sc2 again and now there are no windows about bug or something else, but now sc2 it doesn't even run, (I mean start): I press the "thing" which is called "starcraftiisetup.exe" (from the starcraft 2 cd) and then appears "Blizzard agent update" and other things, after they've finish their "update" then the game doesn't start. I'm not good on Ubuntu, I mean I don't know like anything about it.. So should I still do the winetricks -q corefont or those other things, even after I told you this new (that starcraft 2 doesn't show me any other bug thing but it doesn't start anyway)? However I don't know how to do those things, if that's the problem and I have to do them could you tell me how to do them please? From what I can gather from the OP, the initial crash happened in battle.net, it was not related to starcraft 2 itself.
It was probably a dupe of one or another battle.net/CEF browser crash bugs. It was eventually fixed and the OP had other crash issues. I think this bug can be safely resolved.
