There seems to be some kind of a refresh issue, when cursor is being moved down using up/down arrow keys. How is this different from bug 18666? for bug 18666, some random text from the editor window is seen on top of *other applications* when Source Insight is *no more* in focus. But for this bug, there is text being overlapped *in Source Insight* itself. This (Bug 18954) is of a more worrisome nature and it impediments proper editing of text in the Source Insight editor window.

Do I need to do something specific except scrolling with the arrow keys?
I use 3.50.0063 too. Nope, nothing specific is required. Scrolling using the arrow keys would suffice, the issue is random. I am beginning to suspect the graphics driver for this behaviour. I have a ATI Technologies Inc RS690M [Radeon X1200 Series] on a Toshiba Satellite A215, Wine did have problems with ATI drivers (Bug 4561). When you move the up/down arrow keys you can see screen tearing (refer attached image). I have tried the latest version of crossover-20.0.4-1.rpm and the issue persists. This issue is not seen on FC31 (Wine 5.19) $ wine --version wine-5.19 (Staging) I now suspect (not confirmed), that this has to do with the below packages. Installing then on FC31 seems to have solved the screen tearing. But this needs to be confirmed.
