It is playing the sounds of the intro videos, then showing the "loading"-Screen and then crashing. There's a bugreport 13250 for rc2 wich says this issue is fixed for rc2 (din't tried rc2). Under rc3 it's still crashing. I tried running in Win95, Win98, Win ME and WinXP mode, with everytime the same results. To check, if there's a difference between Majesty (reported in bug 13250) and Majesty Gold Edition, i compiled the working release from (0.9.58). There it crashed too (page fault). Is this still an issue in current (1.1.9 or newer) wine? The same problem with Wine 1.1.10 ubuntu 8.04, wine was installed from http://wine.budgetdedicated.com hardy repository
