This does not happen if I replace comctl32.dll.so with an older version of the libarary (from cxoffice 6.2, I'm not sure which version of WINE that corresponds to). The app works fine in wine 1.0.0, if I replace the comctl32.dll.so library with an older version. So a full regression test would be a bit overkill :) There is a trial of the application available, but it's a much newer version than what I'm running. It apparently uses different code, and doesn't have the same problem. Andrew, I've not tried 1.1.7 yet.
