[Bug 14404] New: Diablo LOD/Starcraft, no sound with ALSA

The broken sound continues even if one exits and returns back to the main menu, which has no issues when the programs are first run. However, if one runs the same wine command with "aoss" prepended, everything works fine. I would include more information, but the wine output does not seem to be very helpful. For me this was solved with HKCU/Software/Wine/Alsa Driver/UseDirectHW=y Amazing, because sometimes I want to hear tracks with mpd, not the game sound. More explicit: With direct3d I had only sound with hardwareaccelaration=emulation (described in some forums), but the game and the sound lags. Then I used directdraw and DirectDrawRenderer=opengl and the lag was gone, but I had no sound again. Is this still an issue in current (1.1.23 or newer) wine?
Sorry, I was busy. But good news: "Gets a works/fixed for me".
