I have managed to reduce the problem somewhat by tweaking some parts. Now the game does not crash, but instead part of the game halts. Some menus does work, but my guess is that there still is some trouble with showing the avi-files that are required. I also re-compressed the avi-files with Virtualdub according to a post in a forum (http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=4;t...) to make sure they are up for the task. Still not working in 1.1.3, but now the mouse cursor (a hand) leaves traces on the screen which it didn't before in 1.1.2

Wizards & Warriors should run under Windows 95 or Windows 98 according to the cover of the package. It is not compatible with Windows ME, Windows XP or Windows 2000 and requires a DIRECT3D compatible graphic. Fresh ~/.wine with wine-1.3.27 using Windows 95. Installation without problems. Initial window ok inclusive graphics. Intro partialy ok, sound but no graphic.
