For those that are interested, I gathered all the information I could at
http://wiki.winehq.org/SafeDisc

The latest patch is against 0.9.18, so I guess the first step would be for
someone to try if it can be applied against current Wine, or if a modified patch
could be created. Please update the wiki accordingly :)
