Nope, the problem is still there in wine-1.9.0-54-gf6998ea. Tested with Nvidia binary drivers 340.96 on Fedora 23 32-bit.

Yes it seems to fix it. I didnt really play the game, but without the patch starting animations and starting screen had awful colors. With the patch I couldnt see such issue.
