https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39041 --- Comment #4 from Bruno Jesus <00cpxxx(a)gmail.com> --- Try installing the indeo codec 3.2, if the game avi files are in a video format unknown to wine any weirdness could happen. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39041 xiha <xiha(a)laposte.net> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |FIXED --- Comment #5 from xiha <xiha(a)laposte.net> --- Bruno, thank you for your comments! I only noticed them recently, and had time to re-test now. Installing the Indeo codec 3.2 did indeed resolve the immediate problem. So I will mark this bug as resolved. However, there are further issues that look video-related, of which one crashes the program without workaround. I will post about them in the forum thread, https://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=25037 . -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39041 Bruno Jesus <00cpxxx(a)gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|FIXED |INVALID --- Comment #6 from Bruno Jesus <00cpxxx(a)gmail.com> --- Thanks for the feedback, since the problem was a missing game dependency the correct solution is invalid. Fixed is only used when something in wine is fixed. About the problems in the forum, please open a new bug for the third issue (crash when starting to play a video file), remember to attach the backtrace. The other issues should have their own bugs too but I can't help them unfortunately. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
