I just installed and run notepad 7.6.6 32bit version with wine-staging 4.50 with no issues so far. Can an administrator close this bug as INVALID (see comment 4)
You missed the point here, the issue comes when upgrading a WINEPREFIX. I can't reproduce the error though.
