Other problems with the app: - HDT is written in C# so dotnet45 from winetricks is required, - installation doesn't work, there is an "unpacked" version in GitHub releases, that skips installation. - HDT doesn't work with multiple monitors (GUI is just black). Disabling secondary monitors works around this. HDT stopped working (GUI does't show) in wine-2.20. Is the bug still present in current wine?
Yes. I just retested with today's git master and no the app doesn't show it's GUI. With commit c222b86a528e71207bbde57e177ff5be3ee211dc reverted app seems to work. HDT is requesting locale info for: locale="en" with lctype=0x8000006d combined flags are: lctype=LOCALE_NOUSEROVERRIDE & LOCALE_SPARENT Patch from Bug 44084 misses this situation.
