[Bug 10131] New: Steam: crashes when launching a game

Error appears every time I attempt to launch a game. Error message reads:

"Steam.exe (main exception): Win32 StructuredException at 00000000 : Attempt to
read from virtual address 0 without appropriate access rights."

Then upon clicking OK, Steam closes.

The same error also appears, but rarely, when logging in at the start of Steam.

Steam was installed in Wine exactly via the How-to on the Steam page in the
AppDB.

Invalid. Provide backtrace and more explanation. There are already 3 bugs with
exactly the same summary.
