[Bug 8051] Sims 2 demo exits prematurely

I can't confirm any of these workarounds. The game started to black screen and
the last message is

fixme:d3d:wined3d_device_set_software_vertex_processing device 0x66b3dd0,
software 0x1 stub!

besides many "out of memory"
